Dr. Paydar brings more than 25 years of surgical and clinical expertise to The Eye Clinic, where he serves as the Medical Director for both The Eye Clinic and The Eye Clinic Surgery Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, followed by his medical doctorate from the Medical
Dr. Paydar brings more than 25 years of surgical and clinical expertise to The Eye Clinic, where he serves as the Medical Director for both The Eye Clinic and The Eye Clinic Surgery Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, followed by his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1991, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society honors. He completed his ophthalmology internship at the University of Southern California and his residency in ophthalmic surgery at The Eye Institute in Milwaukee.
After beginning private practice in Illinois in 1995, Dr. Paydar relocated to the Verde Valley in 1998. In 2001, he established The Eye Clinic, which has grown into a trusted destination for advanced medical eye care and ophthalmic surgery. Throughout his career, he has performed more than 10,000 surgeries and has contributed to training new ophthalmology residents.
Board Certified and extensively trained in a wide range of surgical procedures, Dr. Paydar is known for his precision, experience, and dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes for every patient he serves.

A graduate of the Michigan State College of Optometry (1982), he has practiced oriented optometry since 1993 and spent ten years on staff at a major hospital, gaining invaluable experience across all areas of eye health.
Patients know Dr. Miller for his thoughtful, unhurried approach and his commitment to addressing every concern with genuine compassion. As a primary eye care provider, he evaluates and treats eye disease, infection, injury, and diabetic eye conditions. When surgical care is needed, he ensures a seamless experience by referring patients to the appropriate specialists or ophthalmic surgeons.
Dr. Miller is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the AOA Contact Lens Section.
